That is a really cool picture. I was actually thinking just a while ago how that would be such an obvious picture to paint, yet have never seen it done.

Civilian: Retired as of 1 April.

My son and I just got back from a camping trip in Jackson Hole. Here we were off on a little trail running expedition:

Oh wow! I love the background. Very pretty! I wish I had mountains nearby.

That was in the Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming - just outside of Jackson Hole. I was there for a week and also in Yellowstone.

I wish I lived there - but alas - I am back in pancake flat Florida admiring the canals with the alligators while I ride :-)

That is a really great picture. Blow it up and frame it. You've got to show that one off!

Alright, since you liked that one so much, I will share a few more that were great. I think it would be hard to get a bad pic there:




The bottom pic was from Yellowstone - we saw so many animals: Grizzly bears, buffalo, elk, deer, mountain goats, etc. And we stayed pretty active - I was running at 7000 feet most days and we rented mountain bikes and rode, too.

I love you. I have a hard time appreciating the background since the foreground is so captivating.
