Maybe you could go from forum to forum and compile a list of each forum's posers (Ha Ha Ha). You could post it here, and then "One L" Alan could then link the other sites to it.

or maybe you could just look it up at the USA Triathlon web site. You can at least find the race results for last year if you know the person's first and last name.

maybe members of slowtwitch.com can go to races with signs saying "Newbies get a new bike or go home!"

Honestly, I have no desire to know his name [I suppuse wer're talking about Alan]. I am only making light of the situation. There is nothing malicious here towards Alan personally. I made light of the situation that CG posted info from another website, and I made light of the reverse situation. Not saying anything about the people involved, only commenting on the action. There's a difference. I like the sound of "One L" Alan ... I'm all about nicknames.

Unreal - 10 pages, over 230 posts and over 8300 views - all because someone suggested that people should learn how to ride a bike before attempting to race one (I know I'm paraphrasing) - what a shocking concept!

Knowing what to do is the easiest part. Doing it consitently and progressively over time is the tricky part. I'll check out TNO from time to time [seems like a good place], but the last thing I need is another forum to browse. Heck, I'm trying to lessen my time on this one.

Reminds me of a situation we had here at the school I teach at. One day the kids showed up and many had name tags on. The name tags read either "Prep" or "Anti-Prep". Seems there was a big fight during the weekend between the Preps and Anti-preps (modern day West Side story?), and well ... sometimes I guess you just have to draw a line in the sand. *rolls eyes*.
