You know the saddest part of all this is that there is a generation of young fans like my 10 year old son, who we have to repeatedly convey this type of news to. Starting with Tyler, Operation Puerto, Landis, Vino and now the Chicken (if it is true).

The hard thing is that other sports like baseball, soccer, football, tennis, hockey, XC skiing, speedskating, track, swimming etc etc are likely filled with some form of doping. The authorities in cycling are doing something about cleaning up their sport and are getting a hammering in the press and amidst sponsors. Meanwhile the other sports are doing nothing (relatively speaking) and the finite sponsorship and advertising dollars will end up somewhere outside cycling.

Looks like his own team pulled him on the not avaiable deal. Apparently he was not where he said?? Is that the jist of it??? I hope they leave the team alone though, they deserve to finish this tour. It may be they are too demoralised to go on though, just give them a choice.. Must have been a lot of pressure coming from somewhere, can't wait for the in depth story on this one...Go Contador!!!!
