Quick Tire Pressure Help
I was planning on giving Tyrewiz a shot but also wanted to get the expertise of the forum as well. Have an upcoming tri this weekend. Hillier course. Details on bike below:
2018 Shiv
Rims: HED 5/9
Tires: GP5000 23mm
Latex Challenge Tube
Bike weight: 21lbs
Rider weight: 195

This is a brand new set up for me thats why I'm asking for some input. If I missed any info, please let me know. I'm not sure of the course conditions until tomorrow when I can drive the course.

Thanks

Are they the current gen HED Plus rims with the 21 mm inner diameter? 23 mm GP5000 both front and rear?

Awesome.

Andy (reply above) is the legit HED wheel guy, so it's easy to defer to him for HED related questions.

I'm hovering in the high 180 lb range range right now, same bike weight, same wheels and same tires. However, I'm running 25 mm in the rear. I haven't gone lower than 80 up front and haven't gone higher than 85. The rear wheel (being bigger) I generally keep the same. If I was using a 23 on the back, I would be between 85 and 90. I agree with 80 up front, but that might be getting a little on the low end for a 23 on the back for your specific instance.
