Try messaging the Polar rep who's posted year for over a decade or so. Forget his handle, but it has a very obvious @Polar bit to it.

he's no longer with polar. they had undergone some changes recently, apparently at a huge cost to customer service.

Last time I had a problem I sent in an OH-1 and they sent back a Grit watch, which seems to be an over-the-top commitment to keeping this customer happy.

(While they did this, I felt obliged to advise them of their error and they eventually rectified it by having the Grit picked up and the OH-1 dropped off.)

A better question is what happened to Polar period. How did they blow it? Are they run by ex-Nokia execs?

Can’t comment about elsewhere, but here in the uk, they’ve closed the service dept, and everything is now done via mainland Europe.
Perhaps there’s more restructuring going on worldwide.
It’s taken me nearly 4 months to get a warranty h10 strap from them.

And when you add in the effect of Brfucksit to the equation, it gets even worse if you're in Britain.
