I just booked my room, wanted to pass along some info.
There is 2 nice places still with availabilty for IMLP 2012.
First is

Its the Hotel attached to the Dancing Bears Bar/Rest on corner of Main and Sarnac. I stayed there for my IM in 2009. Rooms are really nice. Most importantly GOOD BEDS. Prob with HP is their website is confusing. If ya go to their calendar, doesnt show availability for IM weekend. Have to click on "specials and packages". Then click link for "IRONMAN 2012". There is a PDF ya have to print and fax (I scanned/emailed). Rooms are around $300 a night/min4 nights.
Other place is

They are a BnB across the street from Mcdonalds on Sarnac. This place is great. Wife and I stayed here last year. Breakfast is included daily. The Owners are great. Red the inkeeper/chef is a riot. Really nice place. Breakfast included daily. Only flaws, No TV (was watching TDF coverage on my Iphone). And further away from racesite. Rooms are abour $50 cheaper a night than HP. Check out the pics on their site....rooms are awesome. We stayed in "Jenkins Room" last year.
I stayed at Swiss acres inn for 2010....What a $h!thole.....no wonder they went out of business.
