I have to agree with the last line though.... I don't care if the guy is 101 or 94 or even 84, running a marathon past 65 years old is pretty damn serious. Looks like Slowtwitch smelled a rat from the beginning.
The oldest man to complete a marathon was the Greek runner Dimitrion Yordanidis, aged 98, in Athens in 1976. He finished in 7 hours 33 minutes.........THIS IS THE GUY THAT IS A STUD. I have seen some 35 year old guys that would love to finish in 7 & 1/2 hours.
