Old wetsuit
I am just getting back into longer tris and that means more open water swims. I have an older desoto black pearl wetsuit that I have had in storage for a few years. Is there anything special I need to do to it before I start practicing in it?

Haha luckily I’m just 5 lbs heavier than I was when I did my last Ironman.

Per Emilio, soak the suit in the tub to keep the neoprene from getting too brittle. I do this a few days before my first tri of the season since the suit has been sitting all winter.

Perfect. I thought this was what we were supposed to do but just wanted to confirm.
