But you're cool with:

Your going to love the s-bends once you try them...
There going to have to change the drafting rule...
There transition area was way too crowded...

As long as we're picking nits, if you live in the USA, judgment is spelled without an "e". If you're European or writing for a European audience "judgement" is acceptable.

"no....it s 3 degres below the freezing point of 0 degres celcius.... nobody use farenheit anymore.... better learn now!!!!"

Not to nitpick, but:

1. -3 degrees fahrenheit= -19 celcius. "better learn now!!!!" - hmmmmm

2. For better or worse, the US uses fahrenheit, and it doesn't seem likely that it is going to change.

ok...well...my understanding of what the person was asking is.... if someone say it s minus 3 outside....how much is this in american..... so

we are talking about 3 degres C and it s more like 27 degres F............

the world say degrees in C and for a american...he needs to make the conversion to get to know what it s like......

i m canadian so i m all good!!!!!

and 1m is in fact 39.22" instead of the 36" that constitutes 1yd

I was always under the impression that one meter was 39.37 inches, and thus the conversion factor of 1.0936 yds/meter.

As far as your original complaint, I think I may have to plead no contest, as I have used cc for cubic centimeters for eons. I have little doubt that on a discussion from time to time regarding the 650c tires on my 48 cm P3, that I may have slipped in an extra c.

If you are Canadian, doesn't that make you American?

By the way, it is -3 C tonight in Pa, that is in America too...;-)

Got it...

and FYI, there is a button on your keyboard (over on the left) with the letters S-H-I-F-T on it. After you put a period, you can use that to capitalize the start of the next letter.

Glad to get that off my chest...

I remember reading that the c means nothing really, as there is nothing about a 650 or 700 that is actually 650 or 700 in its dimensions etc... so wtf is the c for anyway....?

I wanted to know that too, I watched Sideways the other night, the answer is, 1 click = 1 mile. A click is a military term, you can check out the conversion yourself if you're bored: http://www.onlineconversion.com/length_all.htm

So, assuming the naked guy only had to run a 5k, and he's out of shape, he was probably running naked for ~ 30 minutes, maybe faster due to the adrenalin.

You got me thinking, (rare that happens) if a Hed3 is a tri-spoke, does that mean a disc wheel is a mono-spoke? :)

Wow...here I learned something tonight. I always thought it was "Klicks" as well since it is actually 1 Click = 1 Kilometer (Thats why I thought it was K.). That would be from daily use in the miltary as well as the link you posted. Pretty cool conversion site by the way.

Also, all this talk reminded me of the XM Radio ads on Lucy: "Nothing but the best music for the generation that wasted countless hours learning the metric system..."

there is no such thing as a 700cc wheel. or a 650cc wheel.

Technically, it's capitalized -- "C" or "B"

There is a 650B and a 650C. 700B doesn't seem to be around any longer.

The number indicates a once-standard total wheel+tire diameter. The letter denoted the tire size. Hence, 650B and 650C are different size rims. Nowadays, tires are anything but standard sizes.

I got this at your site: 1 click [U.S. military] = 0.621 369 949 mile [survey, US] And as long as I was an Infantryman a Click was 1000m/1Kilometer, never considered the spelling...
