Apple has introduced a new ipod (nano), kind of a cross between the shuffle and the mini. Looks like the mini is going to be phased out. The new nano uses flash memory and has a screen. $199 for a 2 gb one, $249 for a 4 gb one.

Just saw this and I just bought an iShuffle (on the weekend). Looks really nice in black.

Hmmm. I just bought a 12" ibook G4 for my daughter and got a mini for free. Now I know why.
