Hey dude! If look at the photo closely you can clearly see a wire from tririg alpha to new omega! So it is a di2ish brake, not etap-ish wireless one.. anyway I love electricity yay.

Stay home, stay healthy.

If you look closely at the TriRig Delta pictures you can see a different brake arm on the side shots. Was going to post something when I noticed it but never got around to it. I guess it goes with this!

I looked as closely as I could and couldn't see the wire? I really don't think there's one there, at least externally.

Either wired or wireless, why would anyone want electronic brakes? What happens if the battery dies while riding???

Me too if those are indeed some type of Di2/eTap-esque brakes. Both my tri bikes have Omega X brakes. The thought of not having to route brake cables through aero bars is extremely appealing. Although I might keep an Omega X on front for safety and redundancy sakes just in case electronic gizmos go bad.

Nothing electronic/wireless. We just didn't run cables for the photo.

Okay..... Please, TAKE MY MONEY NOW!!!!! I need at least 1 for the front. Can it/will it be adaptable to a direct-mount rear behind the BB??? If so, I NEED 2 of them.

Yeah, that's what I noticed too. And they look really close together (narrow), but I'm not sure if that's a unique/new feature or not.

Is it just a new brake cover or a whole new brake?

Hopefully it's better at, you know, braking, than the original Kronos speed modulator.

Lets hope so and that on a wet day it doesn't bind up with crap not releasing like the old one and cause rim rub ;)

General reply, observations:

1) I was totally being sarcastic when mentioning wireless brakes. It was a joke because there were no cables run in the photo. I’m quite shocked people took that seriously because wireless braking sounds like the worst idea ever.
2) The brake in the photo is absolutely a new design.
3) Those appear to the be the stock Alpha arm cups, not the prototype long cups. They do not extend very far in front or behind the dragonfly mounting plate to be the super long version.
4) Can’t really tell but the extensions may be the new high rise Gammas; similar in shape to the Sync high rise extensions.
