Aukeman Triathlon in Juneau, AK has expanded to include a Half distance (70-ish miles). All race distances will occur on August 4, 2024. All distances are open for relays. The swim is in picturesque Auke Lake. The bike encompasses a ride past the Mendenhall Glacier and out along America’s longest and deepest fjord – Lynn Canal. A new run course winds its’ way through forest and along salmon streams on both gravel and paved trails. Race day conditions could be as tough as the 2022 IM Alaska or quite a bit better. Last year the water was in the 60s, air temp was around 70, and the sun was out. No promises. Bring layers. We know you have questions. We hope we can answer them.
