New 3T Aptos stem
Blatant product plug alert.

I'm excited to introduce the new Aptos stem for those of you who've been waiting for more -17 degree options and a clean look with integrated Garmin mount akin to the Integra. Bonus for extension adjustment making it ideal for dialing in the position of a new bike and/or bar.

OK, I can see the extension adjustment, I think. How many mm?

But I don't see an integrated Garmin mount like the Integra? Am I missing something?

SuperDave....

I'm such a noob...I just realized I was talking to you at the Taipei show Friday morning. Was standing beside royalty and in total peasant fashion didn't even know it!

Am I missing it? I just don't see the mount in your picture Dave. Is it a separate piece?

They Taipei photos don't show it, but I'm guessing if the little orange plastic bit is removed from the stem faceplate the computer mount is this or a close variation: https://www.3tcycling.com/...-accessories/3t-eye/

Dave,

Please tell me that you guys are working on some new aero drop bars that allow for aero extensions to attach and also an aero stem with maybe the same set up as the Aptos.

Is that stem using a seatpost style clamp to secure it to the bike or are there 2 bolts hidden somewhere back there?

The Integra + Zefiro has been out for 4 or 5 years.

Extension adjustment at -17deg is terrific, just what i need.

But I'm not going to be buying this stem, because I just can't see how I'd be able to use my torque wrench to tighten those face plate bolts.

Hi mate, will this be available in 1 1/4" which would fit giant and canyon bikes?

No, after some debate it was decided to start with the 1.125" standard. That's not to say 1.25" is impossible, just unlikely without a growing list of OE using this size.

I liken them to the hidden chainring bolts now found on nearly every Shimano crankset out there. Evolutionary.

Oval did those reverse bolts years ago. They were a pain in the tits.

After being bugged for years on this site about a stem, apparently you took a new job that is even going to be more focused on stems. Did not see that coming.

Bikerumor had a weight of 77g listed. Is that for real?! We're talking AX-lightness territory... does that mean AX pricing? [Comp. Cyclist has the AX stem listed for over $700; AX frames are actually priced really well]

Also - BR says -6deg, you're saying -17, forgive me for being a little confused...
