Yah indeed! Take it easy still though, OK. These usually take AT LEAST 6 weeks to be pretty strong, but cycling in a stiff cycling shoe should be fine.

Good thing that you are able to add the bike back in.

How much has your swimming improved during the swim only focus? I have read some psychotic swim workouts that you posted about like 10,000 yards etc.

BTW the swim focus is how I know that you are not really the SAC. The only time that I am aware of him being in the water is when the Rappstar tackled him into the pool.

Yeah, I live in Maine. I can ride on the road (cold but clear, as long as we don't get the freezing rain tonight) or indoors -- spinning classes.

Glad someone thinks I'm not SAC!!!

Swim times have improved a lot --- 500 free has gone from 6:37 to 6:10ish, 200 free from 2:27 to 2:15 ish, YAY! I think the more volume is key because it has improved my feel for the water so much. I've been focusing on swimming since October though, so those improvements have been over a few months, not just the sfx weeks.

Thanks. Mentally it has helped that it has been wicked cold here, and I hate cold weather -- if there's a "good" time to be injured, this is it because Maine winters are hard. I've also been grateful to get to swim so much, I swam competitively in high school and really missed those workouts. The cool thing I've learned about multisport is that if you can't do one of them, you can usually make it up with something else.
