My P3 Carbon...
Today I was fitted for and was able to test ride my new P3 Carbon. I was riding the Giant TCR2 with syntace clip-ons. When test riding bikes, this was the first time I have ever tri/TT bikes. This bike is a friggin rocket ship. I can't wait to race on it. BTW, thanks to Tom Demerly for the write-up he did on the bike, because it helped me not jump into the wrong size. For those of you looking to get this bike, I will say it runs big. I am 6'2'' and thought the 58 would be right....no way...I went with the 56, and had to change the stem from 120mm to 100mm. Thanks to Mission Bay Multisport for their working with me to get this bike!

Just had to share my excitement.

We won't believe you own a P3C until we see pics...

Congrats on the new ride and glad it was all you expected it to be and more.

I got mine at Mission Bay a couple of months ago. You are right, it is a freakin' rocket! The term I usually use is "ruthlessly fast". It's a damn fine bike. When if your first race on it?

Do they always make that rattling sound when being passed? I wonder if there's something loose inside the frame or what not.......

I've noticed it the last few races, it's sort of a distraction really.

So far it hasn't affected my racing much but I hope they get it fixed by next year when I'm sure to be passing a lot more of them.

The P3C is really an incredible bike. I wager you will love yours and have some great rides and races on it.

Also, the guys at Mission Bay are excellent- they've been in the sport forever and have a ton of experience.

It sounds like you did good- enjoy it!
