Saw these today - claim to be more flat resistant than normal Axial Pros and designed for triathlon. about $10 extra. Any experiences or is this just a marketing ploy to rich triathletes?

Re: Michelin Axial Pro Ironman tires [shw10]

My understanding from Sinclair Imports (a U.S. Michelin distributor) is that they do have an additional belt in them for puncture resistance as well as the M-dot logo. WE haven't received or seen any yet. I treid ordering a half dozen but no one actually had them (about 3 months ago).

I saw a pair listed on Ebay by one of the bike shop Ebay dealers. They were black with red tread stripes. Same "buy it now" price as the new Michi Pro Race. I'm looking at picking up a set the next time I need tires. I've bought from this guy before, no hassles.
