I've heard the term used to describe a ride with friends that's conversational. Basically, nothing too intense, just out for the enjoyment of being out on the bike and not worrying about your power, heart rate, or killing yourself to maintain a certain pace. You'll probably even stop at a coffee shop along the way.

I've heard the term "take my bike for a walk". That sounds like the same thing.

I like that one. I'm bit out biking shape... it kinda feels like that some days!

That term has been around for a very long time... basically it means a group ride, with riders of various abilities, where the pace is controlled and everyone stays together... no one gets dropped. The term is usually used in the pejorative when a ride gets too tame... "Let's go!...This ain't no Love Ride!".
