It's all relative :) I'm 48... work as a neurosurgeon. I'm not a Tri-guy... but my training partner and I are pretty fast compared to most that we ride with. We routinely do group rides with the young guns and always finish in the lead group. He is faster than me for sure... but I can hold my own. I would love to be faster though :)

I live on a lake also. Great life style. But I have 3 boat lifts and 2 docks. :o) But not as nice as yours.

Thanks!! A lot of thought went into it. The bike is on the CT which is run by the laptop attached to the TV on the left. All my workouts down there are erg CT in conjunction with Trainer Road.

Makes me not hate the trainer as much as I usually do...

Yes, it's an eMotion Roller setup with a Kreitler Fork Stand. I rarely use the rollers any more as I can't be bothered having to keep the level of concentration it requires while trying to watch TV shows and movies on the laptop while I ride. Nice to have though when I want to ride them as is. I feel like I get the same workout as a trainer, but without the hassle of setup, and have the option of rollers too.
A simple box fan suspended from the garage ceiling with bungee cords that I hang up horizontally after my sessions so no one headbutts it walking through the garage (my wife did this when I first set this up and she wanted to kill me).
I am wedged between the Power Wheels vehicles and directly below bikes hanging from the ceiling. Works for me!

Yes it is an Aeolus, it's a 59 although it fits more like a 57 I think, and it has 700c tires. Also have a Klein Quantum road bike. I love the Klein bikes, they look great! Right now the Aeolus is just a trainer bike, how bad do you want one??? ;-)

as if we couldnt tell you were rich from the house, now we KNOW its true after seeing the wife :)

there's a DVD player on top of the VCR! Hey, still have some old Spinervals in VHS format...although we never use them.

The TV will be replaced in due time......but it does the trick for now. Just re-did the "entertainment" side of the basement with a bar, sectional sofa, 55" LED. Priorities!
