Landyatchz bikes - custom steel builds
I am giving my winter commuter to someone as its a little small and the drivetrain is a 3x9 clatter-fest. I want to replace with something of good quality.

Walked into http://landyachtzvancouver.com/ a while back and was whoa, these bikes look great.

So I tested out the CB-2 build at their shop today. The CB-2 is the City Bike -2 Flat bar with
Steel frame made in-house
Carbon fork
1x11 Drivetrain
Hydraulic brakes

Modern steel is a great material and light. With the carbon fork the ride was dreamy compared to aluminum (which is to be expected)
Their geometry is more road than slack commuter, which was a bit interesting at first with a flat bar, but when I got into it, was pretty cool.
Loved the 1x driveline - all that range with just a few clicks.

Probably going to pick one up, without wheels. I didn't like the tires either. Would have to replace the saddle, grips and pedals to my spec. Going to be fast summer ride.

They make some awesome road bikes too. If I upgrade my gravel cx will probably give them a look for that one too. If you are in Vanc - check them out!
