I am scheduled for LT test on Tuesday. It will also tell me VO2 Max. Test is on treadmill using Metabolic Cart Device. The instructions I got says running shorts, sleeveless running shirt, socks below ankles and no strenuous activity 12 hours prior. Any specific questions I should ask? Anybody wish they had done something different during or before the test? Total test time is 60-90 minutes depending on recovery. My goal is to fine tune my training zones for now since I am HFLC but my biggest goal is to learn at what point my body switches from fats to carbs for energy. I am also slightly curious about my actual VO2 Max compared to Garmin estimate. This test should establish a baseline and I am hoping to test again next year at this time to see any difference.
