Ksyrium replacement
I heard someone had his/her ksyrium rim replaced by Mavic.

Well, my situation is as follow:

I bought a SSC SL ksyrium wheelset some years ago. The black model with some silver marks on the rim. ( I am clear?) anyway! My rear rim is now broken, but I didn't crash or rode over a whole or any other thng that would justify the problem.

It broken in a way as if someone had tighted the sopke too much so it would pull the rim out and brake it. It has been a while that I don't have any kind of service on my wheels so it was not the case.

So if YOU had your wheel replaced by mavic, please let me know how did you do it cuz through my local shop they told me they were not able to do it.

Thanks in advance!

my local shop told me they would have a new rim for me the day after they placed the order... no reason why yours shouldn't.

I've rebuilt several Ksyrium wheels.

From crashes and other reasons.
The rims are readily available, and very easy to build.

A FSA spoke tension meter works great on the bladed alu spokes.
