Kona Front Wheel Choice

Standard set up is a ENVE 7.8 on the front, but debating taking a 30mm front as well, in case wind is decidedly bad. Not looking to be at the punchy end of competition, but still want t get a respectable time.

Good bike handler and confident riding TT bike in wind, is it worth the hassle?

Just run the 7.8 set you’ll be fine

I'm running 5.6 on front & 7.8 on rear. I figure the time savings using the 7.8 up front will be less than the time savings of bombing the Hawi descent confidently (exponentially if it's windy). Plus with all the traffic on the course I think the 7.8 savings will be less than normal.
