Knee covers for running on cool days
Does anyone know of any knee covers that can be worn while running on days that are cool but not quite cold enough to be wearing tights? I notice that at a certain temperature (basically anything under 50 degrees farenheit) if I choose to wear shorts then at the end of my run my knees ache. Sometimes pretty painful. If however it's cold (below 40) and I wear tights then my knees are fine at the end of the run.

I'd just look for a pair of light-weight tights or running pants. There are a few brands (New Balance makes my favorite) of light weight running pants that are pretty versatile.

How about some capri-length tights?

I just wear Performance knee warmers with tri shorts on my cooler runs.

Craft makes great knickers - in the Six Dot race collection. Bought a pair the day before the Chicago marathon this year and raced in them. They're very well made - and I was happy to have the cover, while not having too much on.

Were very comfortable for the whole race, even though it was the first time I was wearing them (and being somewhat concerned in doing so).
