Does he have any stores that are still open? I wanted to get fitted at his Tyler, TX store, but the number I call is not working.

No, stores closed awhile ago, but you can check with Jack and Adam's in Austin. If I remember right, they were affiliated with him somehow.

I saw a camp advertised in Keller, TX that JC was going to be a part of. This may be a good way to get him to fit you and get a good tri related weekend in...
http://endurathon.com/Camps/CampsHome.htm - see the left side banner for the '06 camp - March 3-5.
JC fit me at Tyler when I bought my first tri-bike a couple of years ago.

All his store are closed. However, John is still very active in the triathlon community and is doing positionings by appointments in Tyler, TX. Trying reaching him at jcobb@blackwellresearch.com.
