The elastic has snapped, now just hope he managed his efforts well enough to keep up around 6;30 pace, that ought to get him 2nd still.

How can you ride 299 W at his size (not that big) and only ride 4:26. His aero does not seem that bad. Do you guys think his powertap pedals read high?

I have p1 pedals 19.01 for 9 miles at 295 watts (175lbs - 6'1) - something def look funky with his numbers

The entire event (IM) is like "death by 1000 cuts" and the best race is minimizing all those cuts and losing less blood than the other guy. - Dev

Neither does she. Now at 22+ back. She'll be hard pressed for a podium spot. I wonder if her record will drop today. Is 8:52 in Daniela's cards?

8:52? Isnt the course record Wellingtons 8:45 in 2009?

Rinny's only hope is Ryf's dual sub 9's 1 week apart this summer come back to bite her late in the run and she walks. I'm not ruling that out totally, but Ryf has such a ridiculous buffer, she can just jog as long as she avoids walking.

Potts passed Sanders so maybe Potts does make it to third. A few of the guys in the top 8 are fading fast while other behind are climbing fast.

Nope. Blame your dyslexia. Chrissie went 8:54 in 2009. Rinny has both the course record of 8:52 and the run course record of 2:50, both set in 2013.

Still a long ways to go. Frodo is a good runner but plenty of race left and you just never know!

At a minimum, there should be a running leaderboard during the live feed. Maybe something scrolling along the bottom like in golf.

Dyslexia? I saw it on a website somewhere, it was wrong apparently. Nothing dyslexic about it mate.
