Making athletes run the loop around transition has always made me laugh.

15 mins is an eternity. Barring a disaster Ryf will win.

I totally agree.
Ryf=winner

now with the men bunched as they are...??
it's actually gonna be a race all the way to the podium

Tim O'Donnell needs more American Flags on that kit of his. I wasn't sure what nationality he's representing for a moment there.

Shoes, he can fit more on his shoes.

It seems stupid on the surface, but it is so that all athletes cover the same distance in transition. At least for T1, it makes sense since everyone has to pick up a bike. T2, there could just be a hand off of the bike and then everyone just cuts across to the change tent.

Will be interesting to see the mile 1 split and how many have sub 6 min opening miles and >7.5 min closing mile.

Weiss was 90 seconds behind Sebastian. He's now nearly 3 minutes behind, while Kienle is leading. My statement stands.

I was thinking all along that Weiss must have a big pay offer to be first off the bike. Oh well, not today.

Did u see weiss coming into transition? He didnt even leave his bike shoes on the bike as he dismounted... Either he's disoriented AF or he's going straight to DNF ville.
