Yeah, the gap to Frodo is stretching out fairly quickly but Gomez seems to be closing on Frodo from behind reasonably quickly as well, so it's not over yet...

Probably the most exciting race I've seen from IM. So many contenders together.

I agree, this is insane!
Jan rock solid, Gomez from behind, probably the fastest, Alistair, can he keep it going for 21 k and not 10?

Yeh that's biggest question. Based on Glasgow AB will be good until half way. I dunno how this is gonna go after that.

Brownlee said at press conference he was in heavy training when he did Glasgow

Yeh he was definitely aiming for this race. That being said he has been in heavy training in the past and not looked that bad. Looks a bit better today though.

And let's be honest, that field at Glasgow was really weak...

He's the top American. That's their main audience. Just being honest.

Think again. Not good enough today. He won't make podium. Chances he drops out 50/50

It was pretty weak for an ITU race. The timing in the calendar didn't help.

Frodeno looks great here. I think Gomez is slowly clawing it back but is having to work very very hard.

I sat there waiting for a penalty to be assessed!

It didn't look intentional to me. Lack of paying attention and not slowing down fast enough to keep his distance on the turn.

He was getting close all of the bike ride. He def didn't want to get closer to the front, he stayed in 5th most of the race.
