Venue on race morning:



DNF'd athletes: These are "dropped dogs". Injury or something. They don't look too happy about having to quit.

I met a guy out trail running in early January. Said his wife was gonna run the Iditasport race. Fast forward to Wednesday nite, almost dark, snowing, 3 to 4 inches of snow on the ground, 20 degrees, I meet the same guy and his wife out trail running. Wife got back from Alaska the day before. Man, she must really love to run.
