Biomechanical? training dependent? strength imbalance? wrong shoes? -A little over two years ago I was welcomed to this bad new world. I got orthotics and that seemed to help. I learned about adhesions and A.R.T. tennis balls and new levels of pain. Over the last 1.5 yrs I've kept the monster at bay. In Oct I tore-off and replaced my roof and while doing so had a big jump in ITB related symptoms. Now add, at least for me, inordinate amount of "squats." It was the performis (sp?) muscle this time that was all bound-up with adhesions. Took one round of A.R.T. followed by daily tennis ball and "Stick" treatments to get it turned around. Took about 8-9 days to go from a 20 min run to 1hr+. 1/2 mary tomorrow. The saga continues.
