IM Chattanooga Run anyone?
I've signed up for IM Chattanooga this year and since I live in pancake flat Florida I was wondering if someone could be so kind and share with me his/her Chattanooga run activity from Strava, GarminConnect, Training peaks, etc so I can mimic the elevation profile in the treadmill... (I've only found the 70.3 run which is not completely the same).
Also, I'm open to ideas on how to train the run. Wish me luck!
Thanks in advance!

Just turn your incline up as high as it will go for 70% of your long runs and you'll be ok.

So, if you're doing a 2 hour run, The first 40 minutes should be about flat and the next 80 minutes uphill.

I did it last year. Definitely a tough run when you hit the other side of the river.

Don’t forget about the downhills. Quad cramping can kill your race. Even walking down the hills at that point in an IM can mess you up if you haven’t trained the quads for that beating.

This also points to being very careful on the bike. Lots of false flats, and it is a really fun course so you'll want to push it. Takes discipline not to.

Good luck in your training.

googled for "ironman chattanooga site:strava.com"

mostly returns bike courses, but you can see example of runs as well. https://www.strava.com/activities/402041850 and plenty in fly-bys.
