Francois, my buddy Barry Dmitruk said that unless he finishes at 4:53 pm (ie 9:53), he will need a glowstick. He is aiming for a sub 10 PB at age 45, and no glow stick.

I finished at 4:27 a couple of years ago and made it by a about 20 minutes. My buddy who raced finished in 10:25 (so about 5:25 pm) and his finisher's photo looked like he was just making the cutoff at midnight it was so dark out. You need a good race there to avoid the glow stick run.

Ah yes, a new category to describe where you rate in the tri world. We've got FOP, MOP, BOP, poseurs, and now GLOWSTICKERS. I'm afraid I'd be a glowstick runner.

I think we've just started a new team - Team GLOWTWITCH ;) I'm on it. I finished IMH and GFT with glowsticks!

GlowTwitch, good one!

All those bouncing, bobbing, weaving sticks just after dusk make a surreal sight. Very cool.

the flight was scheduled for 8:30 - at 12:30 am they pulled the plug - took another 90 mins to find our bags - the primary issue was the extremly rude nature of the way they treated us - had Ken Glah on the flight with around 10 other athletes - all had to rent and drive through the nite to get to PCB - on the previous flight not a single bike arrived in PCB from 12 athletes
