How tight should my wetsuit be?
I've been looking at wetsuits, and I'm trying to figure out how tight it should be. I'm definitely looking for a full length suit, though I don't have any specific brand in mind. (I do like Orca) I'd appreciate any general input people have. More specifically to me, I'm 5'9, about 185ish, about 15% body fat. So, stocky would probably be a good work.

DeSoto T1.
Suits should fit skin tight, but not to the point of being restrictive. In other words, they should hug the body, and not have loose material anywhere, but still allow you to move.

It puts the suit on like skin, or else it gets the hose again.
On land it should feel too tight, once you get in the water it'll feel all right.

A wetsuit should feel too tight on land. It can take 10 minutes of wriggling and inching it in place to get set (and still feel pretty tight). Then, if it is a new model, the built-in flex points of the shoulders will work once you are swimming. If it doesn't feel too tight, it is too big.
