I was thinking about upgrading my Polar 610i heart rate monitor to a 720i but see there is a 725 version now. Does anyone know what the 725 have besides the dumb cell phone integration that the 720i doesn't have?

Major Difference: 725I comes with the new Wearlink transmitter, the 720I comes with the older version of transmitter.
The transmitter that you currently use with your 610I should be useable on either HRM.
Other differences - really minor...
725I has Target zones with % of Max or BPM, the 720I only has BPM
725I is more water resistant... 30M vs. 20M.
720I only does altitude in cycling mode (?)

Thanks. That's the info I needed. The 725i is almost $100 more than the 720i. I don't think I'll need the new features of the 725.

I just upgraded from the 710i to the 625x. If you are interested in just getting the watch, I can hook you up cheap. I gave my wife the strap and am currently using the speed sensor.
