Dude, what's the air temps today? It was TOASTY on Saturday! Latest word on water temp?

And did you know there is an arrow pointing a turn onto West Dry Creek?

Also, maybe have two volunteers at Canyon since some people (HI MANONFIRE) seem to miss that corner, even when you tell them 10 minutes prior and it's marked! ;-)

That's what we're hoping ; ) She is still recovering from a small bout of 'walking pneumonia' she picked up after Florida 1/2, so who knows what'll happen. She will certainly kill herself trying on Sunday. BTW Dave, she is busting out a brand new Splish (grotesque sponsor plug) race-suit for your event. See you Friday night, I think we're coming to the welcoming party at the Hyatt.

CLM ... nice day today (no fog though) 84 for the high and dry (that's the avg. high for this time of year) ... "Toasty" on Saturday, CRAP it was 103 degree's and the weekend before it was the same way. Temps and weather have been all over the place the last 2 weeks! Water temp is just a tick under 77. The way things have been lately, weather and water temp are not worth predicting. You hoping for no wetsuit to prepare for OCT? ;)

The arrow pointing to West Dry Creek is/was for a different event ... follow the BIG chalk arrows on race day everyone! We'll have A (not two) course marshals on Dry Creek / Canyon ;)

It ~is~ one of the big white arrows. There are also the WCC arrows too. If you don't know, you can easily be confused.

And I'd love a non-wetsuit swim since I only have a full suit. I did a 2.4 open water race yesterday (skin). Linda Gallo beat me. ;-)

She nipped you at the finish line i bet ;)

IF we can get out there we'll take some black paint to it. All the turns wil have marshals and we'll instruct folks regarding that at the meetings. ALSO .. the big white arrows from us? The ones we put out will be huge white chalk arrows!

Thanks for the info ...

Har, har. Shux, we wanted to ride to Lake Sonoma and take a dip then double-back for you all. (I actually blew my wad hammering on that stretch of road). ;-) I swear that Matt & I BOTH missed the sign.

Toasty? I was on fire for real. If I had been out there any longer I would have turned into bobinthebuff. Ride it baby ride it!

That was fun. I might go up and roll early Sat.

I'll be racing and praying the water temp holds or goes down. It was all i could do to learn to swim "ok" with a wetsuit ... without I'll be racing the cutoff!
