HED3's Versus HED3 and Disc?
Question for you experts out there. Just got a new 650 clicncher HED Disc(1300 grams). Last year I rode HED3's (650 clinchers) front and back. The rear HED3 weighs 955 grams. Now, knowing that a HED3 front and Disc rear is extremely aero, according JC maybe the most aero wheel set up. in you opinions would I be better off using the tri-spokes front and back for a hilly course versus the tri-spoke front and disc rear? Will the added benefits or being more aero diminish on a hilly 56 mile course with the extra pound versus the light weight less aero setup of tri-spoke front and back?? Just curious???

There will always be a hill so long and or steep that lighter equiptment is in order. That said I would always opt to let the wind decide. There is nothing worse than getting blown around because you are using a disc.At 210 the wind doesn't affect me like someone who is 140 lbs. Cullen
