I clicked a bucket list item today at IM Gulf Coast 70.3. I got a slot for the WC. I can’t believe it, and I am so stoked. I got a total crap drafting penalty that I thought killed the dream. Then, the heat destroyed me on the run. But, just enough people passed on the slots for the rolldown to make it to me. Happy days.
Now I need to recon the course and figure out the travel.
The swim at GC today was epically hard. And for those who did not get an early start, the bike got a choice headwind in the return. It was a 3-fer of hard races.
