It's generally tough to get a decent, steep setup out of a road bike for a few different reasons, the two main ones being: 1) the head tube is usually quite long (tall) which makes getting low in front difficult; 2) moving the saddle forward puts a more weight over the front wheel which makes it handle like crap; and, 3) you generally can't get *that* steep (75ish degrees) unless you buy a forward-angled seat post (whic will really make the bike handle like crap).
If you want to ride at a steep angle, you should purchase a steep-angled bike. Is the 486 their standard 72.5 seat tube angle, or is it 74?
