Ft Collins locals:

I'm in town for a few days (my wife is interviewing for a position at the CSU veterinary school) and I was wondering if you have suggestions for rides and run routes in town. I'm staying at the Holiday Inn across from campus.

Depends on what you are looking for. If you want some hills, ride up and over the Horsetooth reservoir and go work your way up to Estes Park. Or head North to Laramie Wyoming. Great choices abound. Good luck.

While in town make sure you "run " over to the New Belgium Brewery, makers of Fat Tire Beer and others, for a tour and tasting. They have guided tours a 11 and 4, but self-guided any time. Great beers, great people, great couple of hours.
