Flat tire and a Flat spare tire : (
Went out for a 30 miler today and got about 14 miles from home. Noticed the rear tire loosing air.....bummer.....pulled into a parking lot......I use the razor blade and rip it off trick with the Tufo rim tape. Roll the pre-glued spare onto the rim.....fill it up.....put it on the bike.......this all took about a whole 2 minutes......fold up the bad tire......look down and the damn spare is not holding air....sh*t!! Into the BP station and call my wife to pick me up. Oh well....now I get to order new Tufo tires for race season : )

BTW- with all the glass and sharp coquina stone around here....it was a normal household staple that was stuck in my tire.

Yup...always check your emergency kit...learned this the hard way when I swapped a tube, broke out the C02 cartridge, twist....silence...

Seems my wife had grabbed mine one day and used it, but forgot to replace the cartridge...
