Feedback on Pillar spokes (rainbow)?
I'm likely building a wheelset for my gravel bike, and saw that Pillar spokes are an options -- specifically, the rainbow ones (because, why not?). Any feedback on these? Does it even matter? Thinking about possibly pairing with HED belgium +.

However, just factoring in the price, I may shy away from these. Plus I don't need a bladed spoke. (I least I don't think I do...)

I have a set of road disc wheels I built with them. They’re great! The look awesome, and have effectively the same weight as a set of Sapim CX-Ray spokes. Both in terms of building the wheels up and then riding, I’d say they’re on par/comparable to the Sapim spokes.

I’ve actually switched the wheels to my gravel bike while I’m building a new set, and they’ve held up to 200+ miles of gravel no problem.

They are pricey though, and you’re paying for the rainbow finish. But they look super cool, especially when you look down at your own front wheel.

The picture was taken just after pacing and before I started tensioning/truing so that’s why the spokes look a little flexed.
