For reference, I've ran a couple 3:12 IM marathons and 3:18 in Kona. These were all using the low and mid volume TR plans. I haven't run an open marathon since before I started LD triathlon training, which was slower than my current IM run PR. In a half marathon in the middle of an IM plane managed a 1:24:45 and it felt like my honest best that day.
I haven't been doing the volume since Covid started so my endurance is down, but paces are roughly similar.
Barring cancelation, I'll be at the Berlin Marathon in September and would like to BQ.
Goal is sub 3:00
Stretch goal is sub 2:55
Preference is a 7 day structure with the same day off each day, which weeks long, and some leeway for swimming and cycling. My schedule allows for 2 sessions per day.
What are your favorite boxed marathon plans? They don't need to be free
