Escape from Alcatraz, Florida edition, is a great race. The first year of the event (last year) was really well organized, challenging (swim-suggest full wetsuit, bike-nice country landscape with no cars, and run-changed to being on pavement) and fun post party. It is also not too hard to get one of those coveted slots to the CA race. So, come to Clermont where it is warm and you are envied by the rest of the country where they are just dreaming of getting outside and training, let alone racing.

Okay thats my plug for a great Feb race.

It would be on my race calendar for sure, but I will be only 3 weeks postpardum and don't think I can get enough run training in to do it :)
