Dan,

Since when did food become Epic?

For the record, here's my breakfast:

- Large cup of strong, dark-roast coffee with light 5% cream

- Whole grain toast with peanutbutter

- Smoothie, with blueberries, banana, 1% yogurt, table-spoon of honey

- Glass of OJ

No idea on calories. I don't count that sort of thing

That's not a bagel. Is it one of those ersatz Lender's things? My bagel's gotta be at least 400 calories, without the butter.

People don't like to hear this, but indeed, I was one of those odd freaks that actually LOST weight when I stopped training seriously a few years ago.

Never been a calorie counter and hopefully will never have to be. Not to make fun of this at all because it is a serious thing when you consider the ballooning waistline of the typical North American male. It is a serious health issue.

Dan-

Where's the protein? Just like the old Wendy's commercial, "Where's the Beef?" You need a little protein w/every meal.

Try it out, I think it will help.

I hope you are feeling better :)

Isn't it like 5 oclock out there on the left coast? That's part of your problem, you are awake too long - too much time to fill with eating. I suggest sleeping 16-18 hours/day, and training for 4-5. That way you won't have so much time to be bored and eat.

Go back to bed.

Just like everything else on this forum here, "without pictures, it doesn't exist" You can't have a after picure without a before picture.

Teaspoon Canola Oil?

Do you "shoot" it like tequila? And...what for? Regularity?

Amen, brother.

Two pieces of whole grain toast w/all natural peanut butter, three phytomax veggie pills, 16 oz glass of water, organic apple.

And for the ugl part - morning weight: 198.4

I'm just going to edit my one post everyday.

Mid-morning "snack" : two scrambled eggs.

Lunch: Turkey (four thin slices) on whole grain bread and a coke (these will be my downfall if I'm not careful).

1600 kj ride

Dinner: 2 grilled chicken breasts, a handful of tortilla chips and,, daam, another coke (but it was post ride, so I don't feel too bad.

45 minutes of strength training and stretching tonight after the kids are asleep.

The Powerbar folks stuffing down Chinese food at lunch, that is funny;) I had a friend who used to work in the restaraunt industry for places like Chipotle, Quiznos and others and he was always talking about the free food floating around those places. I would be as big as a house:)

Breakfast: 2 Eggs, slice of Rudi's whole wheat toast, black coffee

Alright,

I'm joining the bandwagon... 173 pounds (down from 180 at Christmas) would like to be into the 160's by my first road bike race of the season in early May... Hopefully low 160's by 'A' race triathlon in July. Was 168 last year for this race.

So far today:
breakfast: Bagel (veggie cream cheese) coffee milk and sugar
morning snack: chocolate milk
Lunch: Tuna Sandwich with store bought flax seed bread
p.m. snack: V8 juice... peppermint patties
planned dinner: "monster" salad (every veggie I can find) with a sliced chicken breast... maybe a beer later on.

Hey Slowman, one poster asked.. How tall are you? I'm 5'10" so i'm carrying a bit extra at my afore mentioned weight.
