Do KK Road Machines "get old"?

Have had the same trainer now for 6 years. Fluid trainer. Do they get "old"? It's been indoors the whole time, but I've never done any servicing of it.

Nope. Damn near indestructible. The only part that commonly wears out is the threaded tensioning bolt/knob, but I think that problem only effected older blue/gray units.

Mine used to be my dads and I've used it for the last 6 years. Part of me wants it to get old but this thing is solid!

I managed to destroy one, but KK sent me a replacement - lifetime warranty is nice.

I've probably got 20,000 miles on mine. I had a resistance unit go bad last year. I've also replaced the cups. All you pay is shipping on parts. Not a bad deal.
