I have a set of Firecrest 808's and a single 2007 Zipp 808 with aluminum brake track. I was going to sell the 2007 wheel, but thought it may better to simply cover the wheel and use it as a dedicated disc. Is there a significant aero benefit to covering the Firecrest wheel as opposed to the older 808? Am I over thing this?

I doubt there will be much of a difference between the two. But if you want the whoosh whoosh sound I have a disc for sale :)

I ride a P5, thanks for responding. I have too many wheels to begin with, but thought a dedicated wheel and cover might be easier... that said, I don't want to be giving up 2 watts per 40k :-)
