Developments in the "Hero" thread.

The fella who took legal guardianship of the two kids who lost their parents is coming in this afternoon to pick out bikes for the kids- all four of them (his two and the two he took in).

We already got checks from Slowtwitchers to help defray the costs. Thank you guys very much.

I'll jump back on here and let you know how much there will be left to raise to make this happen. Given the outpouring of interest, I doubt it will be much. We're picking up the tab for 1/2 of the bikes so we're not talking about a lot of money. I'll let you guys know later today or tomorrow about the particulars for those who may still be interested.

Thanks again guys. You never cease to impress me with your kindness and friendship.

Tom.

All the kids and their folks are in here now. It's quite a zoo. Imagine being in a bike shop and having someone say to you- "Hey, pick a bike....."

They're pretty stoked.

They just left. I was thinking of doing that, but it seemed a little invasive.

I'll have the numbers shortly. I'm in a meeting with a sales rep too right now....
