Does anyone else seem to get sick after an extreme workout or race? I have been sick just about every 3-4 weeks since I started training for tris, and it seems to be the same ailment (a quasi-sinus thing that moves into my lungs but clears up within 7 days).

I raced last weekend (my first!), and felt terrific. But within 24 hours I was sick again. I'm kinda frustrated. Can bacterial infections go into remission and then keep coming back? I haven't been to the doctor because by the time I can get an appointment, I seem to be on the mend. I am getting enough rest and I think my nutrition is decent - any thoughts?
