I’m a slow swimmer, but was even slower with them on. I tested with my sleeveless suit in the pool. Cannot remember how much slower, but it was obvious enough I ditched them on the side of the pool only a few reps into my set.

I also recall some minor chafing from them as well.

Do a test swim and decide for yourself.

Wear (DeSoto) them all the time and do not notice any difference while swimming in the outdoor water.
