I would not call them "cool" but these are hilarious. I am including the explanation I made the first time I posted on the Cleveland Tri Club site. We tied for second.

At the FRR sprint last Sunday I followed my normal race strategy. Start the run in the lead and try not to get hunted down. The first place finisher caught me right before mile marker one. So I could only hope for second. About 400 yards from the finish I got passed again. So I figured I would try and go with him. He hears me and picks it up. With about 100 yards to go I start to feel the heaves coming and let up and he was about 10yds in front of me. Then CTCs own Alan Wong calls me out in front of everybody "SUCK IT UP BRENT!!" So I figure I might as well make it interesting and probably ralph. I full out sprinted to the line and caught him right as we crossed the timing sensor.

I like this one of me. One of the few where I don't look like a dork. Started out as just a "fun" race and I ended up with a PR thanks to pushing hard on the run. I didn't hurl, so I guess I didn't push quite hard enough. :)

Nice ink. How old is it? With that much black filler, I am surprised it is so dark. I am getting some more work done on Saturday on my left arm. First, I need to have my current design re-inked. It is about 3 years old and needs a touch up.

Since it is the end of cross season, perhaps a few cross photos.
First one is from a month ago, the other is from Sunday's provincials. Proving that even BOP'ers in a cross race feel serious pain.

I've always liked this one. A bit of a break-through, I walked the entire finishing chute to enjoy the moment.
Mike Reilly said something like 'hold your number up high, Mike' so that's what I did. Definitely one of the best feelings, and this picture captures a bit of it.

Can someone remind me of how we resize pictures, please?

I've posted these before; they are from mile 25 or so of my spontaneous marathon (Oct 2006). Photo credit to my brother, who ran the last 3 miles with me. The only difference now is that my shoulders are even broader...
