Cool down, drink water, sweat like crazy...

Okay, maybe I am revealing what a disgusting creature I really am, but I wonder if this is just me....

I sweat a lot. I mean really a lot, more than anyone else I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot of people working out in my time. It's a running joke around people who work out with me, as well as a source of disgust I'm sure. Bless my wife who rides behind on a tandem occassionaly.

I do my best to keep hydrated, although a stomach can only absorb so much. But, to get to the point finally, I've noticed that after I finish my workout and cool off, at some point I finally stop sweating and dry out. If I then drink a big gulp of water, immediatly, and I mean within seconds (much faster than the water could actually make it from my stomach to my skin), the water works start up again. It's like my body says "good, more water, now I can sweat even MORE!" I'm here at work, roughly 3 hours after completing my morning run, and as I drink a big bottle of water I notice this affect even now.

Is this just me? Is it evidence I'm dehydrated?
